Between 1940 and 1944, more than ten million bottles of the best French wine were stolen by German occupiers in France. The looting of French vineyards during WWII risked draining the country of its heart and soul. This 90' x 52' documentary tells of the proud winemakers and merchants from Champagne to Bordeaux who joined the Resistance and risked their lives to save France's national nectar.
